As part of their future ambitions, they are seeking a strategic and driven Finance & It Manager who will play a central role in shaping their future and contribute to their ongoing success.responsibilitiesReporting to the Site General Manager in Esbjerg, you will have the overall responsibility for the Finance & IT functions and ensure transparent reporting and efficient operations. The Finance and IT department consist of nine employees whom you will lead and motivate. Additionally, you will be part of setting the direction for the development of the finance function in line with the company’s growth.Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Direct and manage day-to-day Finance and Accounting functions, ensuring smooth and timely execution of accounting processes and reports
• Oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of monthly accounts and year-end statutory submissions, including managing audits
• Prepare and present the annual divisional budget, along with profit analysis
• Handle payroll, VAT, and other statutory submissions
• Cost Management and Analysis
• Monitor actual performance, profitability, and conduct variance analyses
• Continuously review and enhance internal controls and procedures
• Manage internal audits and ensure compliance with financial standards
• Provide guidance and oversight to Site Accountants to ensure optimal performance
• Manage the Site IT team and initialize new initiatives

Finally, you will support ongoing finance projects as required by the Site General Manager or CFOthe ideal candidateWe are looking for an experienced finance professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience and expertise within accounting, controlling, and/or auditing, ideally in an international group setup. Besides that, you possess the majority of the following qualifications:

• A relevant education within finance and accounting
• Strong IT skills – experience with SAP is a plus
• Fluent in Danish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence to engage with and challenge stakeholders across various levels
• Familiarity with production companies is essential, while knowledge of the food production industry is an advantage
• Leadership experience is an advantage but your people skills and cultural fit are key
