Permanent Vacancy – Finance ManagerLocation: Hatfield, AL10 (Hybrid)Duration: PermanentSalary: £45,163 – 56,921Hours: Full timeThe purpose of this role is to provide a vital professional advice and support on issues relating to all aspects of various projects to senior management and various Departments.Key responsibilities:

• Support on project related financial issues, supporting the Department Heads and other senior managers
• Provide a comprehensive, professional financial management service
• Provide management of projects with reporting, budgeting, forecasting and external audit
• Line manages a team of two staff, a management accountant, and an assistant management accountant

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of working in a financial management role
• Demonstrable technical skills, including project accounting, budgetary control, and financial planning
• Hold a professional accounting qualification

• Provide financial and business advice to groups in conjunction with Finance Managers.
• Prepare detailed analysis of projects, budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
• Construct and submit project submissions internally and externally, ensuring timely reconciliation of auditable income and expenditure.
• Complete monthly management accounts and communicate proactively within the Finance team and management.
• Assist in preparing Year-End financial statements in accordance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Part-qualified member of a professional accounting qualification (CCAB)
• Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial information
