On behalf of the Nordic private equity firm Axcel Management A/S, Moment Search & Selection is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager to join the Finance and Accounting team at the office at Sankt Annæ Plads in Copenhagen.A dynamic workplace characterized by strong professional proficiency.Founded in 1994 by prominent Danish financial institutions, including Nordea and PKA, Axcel specializes in investing in and developing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Nordic region, with a focus on four key sectors: technology, business services & industries, healthcare and consumer. Axcel’s mission is to create lasting value through strategic guidance and specialized expertise, a mission in which you, as the Finance Manager, will play a pivotal role.At Axcel, you will be part of a dedicated and ambitious workforce that actively supports and enriches the internal community. Reporting to the CFO and Risk Manager, you collaborate with colleagues who value a humorous and enjoyable workplace culture, making it a pleasure to come to work every day.In your first year, your main focus will be to cover for a colleague on maternity leave, with responsibilities that includes:

• Collecting, processing, and representing financial data from portfolio companies
• Communicating and reporting data transparently and understandably for both internal and external stakeholders
• Preparing fund reports to ensure accurate and timely delivery
• Drafting annual reports and tax returns for funds, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations
• Supporting compliance efforts and ensuring accurate reporting financial activities

Over time, the role will expand to include greater responsibilities as the CFO and Risk Manager gradually steps back from operational tasks.Your professional skillset and personalityAs the Finance Manager, we are looking for someone who is not only highly skilled but also eager to grow in the fields of accounting, taxation and financial legislation.
