Job description

We are looking for a competent Finance Systems Manager to head the Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in biotechnology and display strong leadership skills.

• Oversee and manage the Accounting & Finance department
• Ensure financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
• Lead and develop a finance systems team
• Implement new processes and controls where necessary
• Work with other team leaders to grow the business and formulates strategies
• Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Develop and manage financial systems/policies

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA
• Experience in a similar role within the business services industry
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders
