Finance Transformation Project Manager – AutomationLocation: Cork, IrelandOur client, a global leader in innovation, is transforming its Finance function through cutting-edge digital technology. They’re looking for a passionate Senior Finance Transformation Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Cork. If you thrive on solving complex financial challenges with technology, this role is your chance to be at the heart of a major transformation project.You’ll work with global accounting teams to automate financial statements and revolutionize reporting processes, replacing manual work with smart, automated solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.ABOUT THE ROLE

• Bridge Finance & Tech: Act as the primary liaison between accounting, tax, and FinTech teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Drive Innovation: Develop country-specific business requirements and use cutting-edge automation tools to streamline financial workflows and boost data accuracy.
• Ensure Quality: Test automated reports against underlying data to maintain the highest standards of reporting and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify challenges, anticipate bottlenecks, and manage escalations while driving standardization and process improvement across the finance function.
• Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects-from requirements gathering to deployment-and ensure all stakeholders are aligned throughout the process.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools like Workiva.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English, with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with automation tools and technologies.
