Financial ControllerCore3 are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis to recruit a Financial Controller opportunity with forward thinking company that is going through a period of growth. £65,000-£75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus – Hybrid working.Why join our client?They are a growing commercial environment with a dynamic and vibrant culture. This is a huge opportunity to lead the Management Accounts team in the production of the internal and external management information. This role will also a have a great progression to a Group Financial Controller or a Finance Director.How you’ll make an impactThe new Financial Controller will be supporting the Group Finance Director while the company goes through a period of growth. The role is very fast paced with several projects on the go, and this will lead to more opportunities in the future.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, Develop and Motivate the Management Accounts team.

• Production and review of monthly internal Management Accounts, various financial reports and reports for external stakeholders
• Oversight of the various company balance sheets and monthly reconciliation
• Management and oversite of the business cashflow, maintaining the forecast/cashflow model.

• Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team and providing insightful analysis to help them understand performance drivers and financial matters
• Managing all financial controls, quality standards and communication to stakeholders
• Working closely with the head of purchasing to maintain cost control
• Assisting with management of the year end audit
• Maintaining accurate accounting data, with a focus on continuous system & process improvement
• Oversee all activities relating to the delivery of Finance projects, including an development of controls and reporting relating to the existing and newly implemented ERP
• Create various financial models to help evaluate elements of the existing business or potential growth areas or acquisitions.
• Help develop and maintain the external financial relationships eg banking partners.

• Support the Group Finance Director on multiple projects as the business grows quickly.
• Experience creating consolidated accounts

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), several years post qualification.
• Experience leading a team of Accountants
• Previous Financial Control experience desirable.
• Strong Financial control
