What is the job about?The French Speaking Senior IT Supporter provides remote services to sales, service, and production companies and limited onsite support. He/she supports IS applications and services, both for office and production and performs Hardware Asset Management Lifecycle services. He/she potential participates in global IS projects e.g., Infrastructure Lifecycle changes.This role has a priority on supporting the France companies, but also contributor for the global support in Grundfos Water Treatment and has responsibility of providing IS support services in additional companies / branches in other countries together with the global IT support department and possible in collaboration with local IT resources.Your main responsibilities:
- 1st / 2nd level remote and limited onsite support, with primary responsibility for France, but also delivers support globally to Grundfos Water Treatment IT Users
- Support IS applications and services globally and ensure service availability
- Manage and monitor IS ServiceNow ticket queues.
- Incident and workaround handling
- Knowledge transfer to peers, end-users, and stakeholders
- Coordinate bigger /more complex IT support issues
- Plan and execute Hardware Asset Management Lifecycle services (e.g., PC’s, Tablets, Monitors, standard meeting room equipment, Phones, Printers etc.)
- Initiate improvements in working procedures
- Create and maintain runbooks for end-user applications, services, and systems
- Project work participation / contributor of project deliveries
- Change handling
- Conduct IS training/knowledge transfer for standard end-user applications / services (e.g., M365 suite)
- Participate in Duty Guard, if needed
Your backgroundWe imagine that you have:
- Interest in technical/IT field
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in English and French
- Extrovert personality and self-motivated. Enjoys working with people
- Service-oriented and collaborative personality with effective communication skills and the ability to present information to peers and end-users in an easy digestive way
- Self-driven (incl. learning and researching), proactive, and independent personality with good organizational skills. Focus on achieving results and meeting peer and end-user expectations
- Deep understanding of relevant end-user applications and services. Knows how to follow relevant standards, best practices, and compliance requirements to keep applications and services compliant and stable
