Your roleAs part of the development team, you will collaborate closely with other developers and system engineers in the design and development of video capture, analysis and presentation for our Air Traffic Management products. You will design, implement, test and document software that will be used in our Integrated Digital Tower Suite (I-DTS).Therefore, you need to have a broad knowledge and ambition to learn and develop. We value commitment and an outgoing and creative personality.The main tasks are:Proposing and implementing software architecture and designs based on requirements and/or customers’ needs as part of a product development teamSupport test engineer with software development of test automation frameworksWriting well-structured, testable, efficient and maintainable full-stack codeCollaborating and adding value through participating in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestionsTailoring and deploying software tools, processes and metricsSaab ATM AB develops world-leading air traffic management systems. The systems are used to conduct airport operations and manage air traffic as efficiently and safely as possible at everything from the smallest to the largest airports in the world. This places very high demands on our products to maintain a high quality.Our ATM operations are currently located in Gothenburg and Växjö. We believe that a diversity of experience, different perspectives and backgrounds contribute to a stimulating workplace and better products for our customers and users.Your profileFor this role we see that you have:Minimum Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, mathematical or science-based subject or equivalent working experienceExcellent communication skills in English, verbal and writtenGreat collaboration skillsAt least 5 years’ experience in a similar roleProficient in Typescript/JavascriptExperience with React or similar web frameworkExperience in complex software systems with agile development methodologiesDesired skills:Knowledge in C++Knowledge in Git, Jenkins, Jira, ArtifactoryExperience with Node.jsExperience with CudaKnowledge of KubernetesExperience with DirectX11 and/or VulcanAviation interestAs a person, we would like you to be creative, self-driven and outgoing with a high motivation to solve problems and have a genuine interest in programming.Willing to take up the task that is most important for the team to progress.You are passionate about learning new technology, acquire domain knowledge and are happy to share your knowledge with both customers and employees.This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
