We have an ambition to become better in data-driven decision-making and to achieve this we have started several Lighthouses.To support the new Route Optimization Lighthouse team, we are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer who can design and architect intermediate applications to support the lighthouse and the finalized solution and then do the actual development work. The architecture work will be done in collaboration with architects from our organization.The consultant should have prior experience in working with data-heavy solutions and be able to participate in discussions and workshops focusing on a wide range of aspects related to the modus operandi of our organization as a company, and how the proposed changes fit within the existing system landscape.Our new data platform is built on the Azure tech stack, so prior experience in working with the Azure tech stack, and experience in working with modern data platforms is important. Previous experience working on last-mile delivery planning and route optimization is a plus.We have decided that Microsoft’s Power BI platform will be used as the main platform for creating, sharing, and presenting data.Description of assignment

• The Route Optimization Lighthouse is already live and is in the process of deciding what the digital solution(s) should entail and how they should fit into the business workflows.

• As the Fullstack Developer for the Route Optimization Lighthouse, you will participate and collaborate in developing the architectural design for the Route Optimization Lighthouse in collaboration with our Enterprise Architect and with the architects from our existing Last Mile teams.

• The position includes working closely with the business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision-making. It also includes designing or coding /building experiments to merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers, or the wider organization.

• Good skills in working with front and backend development are required.

• The lighthouse has already established a visualization solution composed of ASP.NET Core 8 APIs and a UI stack built on modern JS (including D3 and Leaflet). As the lighthouse progresses, the visualization solution is anticipated to take on more responsibility, and the consultant should be able to provide designs and implementations that align with its pace.

Fulfillment of assignmentThe majority of the work will be done in Copenhagen, Denmark. Some travel to Stockholm could occur. We allow hybrid work practices, and if agreed with the project manager, then it will be possible to work from home/off-site. The candidate can be from Sweden if the candidate är ok with travelling from time to time.Extended outcomeThe candidate will define an architectural blueprint/design, that we allow us to take the next step in scaling up the team and start building the proposed solution.Time Schedule

• We are looking for a Full stack developer who can do coding work as well as solution design. Previous experience working in the data domain is important. You will work as part of a Scrum team and interact with business users to understand the requirements.

• At least 3 years of experience working with data-driven solutions.

• Mandatory competence requirements Experience in building data pipelines, preferably in the AWS environment.

• Experience in the agile way of working (SCRUM)

Should have requirements:

• Experience in building data pipelines, preferably in the AWS environment.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services

• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps

• Experience with building frontend and backend applications that are composed of REST APIs and various types of data sources (SQL, CSV, JSON)

• Experience with building software using SOLID principles

• English is required

• Fluency in Danish is a big plus, and a basic understanding of Swedish is helpful.
