Excel Recruitment is looking for a talented General Manager with a strong background in supermarket, food retail, or fashion management for their client’s food retail business in Meath. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing teams of up to 50 staff across multiple departments.Salary: €65k – €70kResponsibilities:

• Oversee the overall operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and productivity
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of up to 50 employees across various departments
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales and achieve business objectives
• Maintain high standards of product quality, store presentation, and customer service
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships to optimise product availability
• Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns and in-store events

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manager in a supermarket, food retail, or fashion environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and multiple departments effectively
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
