Known for delivering high standards across food & beverage, events, and guest satisfaction, the hotel is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, support strategic growth, and ensure exceptional service delivery.Role OverviewThe General Manager will take full responsibility for the operational, financial, and commercial performance of the hotel. Reporting directly to the Director/Owner, the role involves overseeing all departments-particularly food & beverage operations-with a focus on maximizing profitability, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving a high-performance culture among staff.This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an experienced hospitality professional with strong commercial acumen, team management skills, and a genuine passion for guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipLead and oversee all hotel departments including F&B, front office, housekeeping, events, and kitchenEnsure alignment of day-to-day operations with long-term business objectivesConduct regular inspections of all service areas to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and qualityMonitor and manage food and beverage profitability, stock control, and cost efficiencyStrategic & Commercial ManagementDevelop and implement sales and marketing strategies to optimize revenueCollaborate with department heads to create and execute business plans and budgetsAnalyze financial performance reports and implement corrective actions where neededDrive guest satisfaction through innovation, service excellence, and quality assuranceHuman Resources & TrainingLead recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, training, and development of all staffFoster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and teamworkIdentify high-potential employees and create development plans for successionOversee employee relations, ensuring adherence to HR policies and employment lawHealth & Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict compliance with HACCP, IS 340, fire safety, and emergency proceduresConduct risk assessments and ensure proactive hazard mitigationMaintain compliance with local licensing, labour laws, and health regulationsGuest ExperienceEnsure VIP guests and special events are managed with the highest attention to detailActively address and resolve guest complaints or issuesPromote a culture of service where “going the extra mile” is the standardMiscellaneousParticipate in regular meetings and strategic planning with ownershipFlexibility to assume Duty Manager responsibilities and support special functions as requiredUphold the reputation and values of the hotel through consistent professional conductCandidate ProfileExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in a senior hotel management or General Manager roleStrong background in food & beverage operations within a luxury or high-volume hospitality environmentProven experience in budget control, forecasting, and financial reportingExperience managing weddings, events, or destination-focused services is highly desirableSkills & CompetenciesExceptional leadership and interpersonal skillsCommercial and financial acumenStrong organisational and planning abilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGuest-centric with a problem-solving mindsetHands-on, adaptable, and able to lead by exampleQualificationsDegree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field (desirable)HACCP and Health & Safety certification (advantageous)Familiarity with modern hospitality systems and PMS toolsWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceOpportunity to lead a landmark hotel propertyAutonomy to influence operational and strategic directionSupportive ownership with a long-term visionBeautiful working environment in a unique hospitality setting
