The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway’s technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.This is a great opportunity to work for a significant construction company, working alongside some of the most experienced specialists in the industry to continue developing and further you career.Job Role / Responsibilities

• Cooperation in the design of foundation work and support structures (road embankments, landfills, hazardous landfills) tunnels and structures foundation construction, assessment of risk at site conditions, and prediction and reduction of damage caused by natural hazards (such as avalanches, mudslides, landslides, rock slides, sinkholes).
• Review the organic functions of proposed construction sites and surrounding areas to confirm suitability.
• Meet and evaluate the project area, soil composition and naturally occurring formations.
• Suggest effective remediation of geotechnical
• Propose technical solutions to soil support and consolidation
• Propose, note and calculate through studies all necessary costs and material resources involved in geotechnical matters.
• Share final evidence-based assessments with stakeholders

ProjectThe infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 3 years.Requirements8 years in construction – large-scale infrastructure projects * Experience in Norway

• Technical Degree (Engineering /Civil / or equivalent)
