Do you see yourself using your advanced experience in operations management to take ownership of this process within the logistics team at NORDEN?As a Global Operations Manager you will take on a key role in managing and optimising the logistics and supply chain activities, ensuring that NORDEN’s logistics operations align with strategic goals while delivering exceptional service to customers.You will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but around 4-8 weeks of travel a year to different sites, may be required for bid preparation activities as well as site set up.What is in it for you
You will join our newly established Logistics team within the Logistics department. This new core team is responsible for realising logistics opportunities, consisting of yourself, a Senior Transshipment Specialist and a Commercial & Contracts Managers.The position encompasses both operational input for bid preparation and providing comprehensive supervision, support, and oversight of all NORDEN’s current and prospective logistics operations across the globe.This is primarily a materials-handling logistics role, focusing on the effective management of high-intensity operations. Responsibilities involve overseeing various aspects of operations, including maintenance, planning, and execution, often in remote locations.This is a growing business area for NORDEN, and you will have the opportunity to shape the operational landscape of new projects from conception to operations.You will collaborate closely with the internal technical team and other functional support teams within NORDEN. The local Operations Managers in each of the countries NORDEN has logistics projects in will be reporting directly to you.The tasks that await you

We are looking for a colleague who is curious and wants to expand their knowledge and engage with various stakeholders. You have a natural collaborative mindset and are interested in working closely with colleagues to deliver.Further, to thrive in this position, you:Have a strong understanding of financial metrics to optimise operational outcomes.Hold at least five years of experience in managing complex operations in sectors such as mining, oil and gas, grain, or industrial operations.Have a background in a maritime context.Have experience with P&L.Hold a degree in engineering, logistics, project management or similar.Application
