We are now preparing for the next phase – scaling our business through commercial focus, operational excellence, and sound financial leadership.To help lead this journey, we are looking for an experienced and business-oriented financial leader to join our Executive Team as Group CFO.About the RoleAs Group CFO, you will take overall responsibility for Ovako’s financial direction and performance. You will lead a finance organization of approximately 20 professionals, structured across Business Control, Financial Control, Treasury, and Shared Services. Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Group Management Team, you will play a central role in shaping strategy, enabling performance, and strengthening the link between finance and business operations.Key priorities:Provide strategic and operational recommendations based on financial analysis to support the company’s growth and profitability Strengthen performance management and profitability focus across the organization Drive fact-based collaboration between finance and the business units to exceed business plan targets Actively contribute to the Group Management Team and lead the company from a group-wide perspectiveMain ResponsibilitiesYou will lead and develop all aspects of Ovako’s finance function – including financial control, reporting, budgeting, treasury, and risk management – ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a scalable financial infrastructure. You will manage the company’s capital structure and external stakeholder relationships, and take ownership of group-wide financial governance. In addition, you will lead strategic financial initiatives and provide the Executive Team with the insights needed to make well-informed decisions.What You BringYou are an experienced finance leader with a strong business orientation and a proactive mindset. You combine a structured, analytical approach with a firm understanding of operational realities. You are used to acting at both strategic and operational levels and have the ability to translate complex financials into clear business insights. You are a confident communicator and collaborative partner, known for your credibility and clarity.Required ExperienceAcademic degree in business, finance, engineering or similar Proven finance leadership in a manufacturing or production-based company with a global market presence Experience from companies with multiple business units or product segments – understands business complexity Has served as head of finance in a business unit or company with turnover exceeding SEK 2-5 billion Deep knowledge of Swedish/Nordic financial governance, compliance and tax structures Strong track record of providing financial leadership in an executive management team Experience managing external reporting, audits and stakeholder communication at group or business unit level Demonstrated ability to lead through change, including business transformations or operational improvement initiativesMeriting ExperienceExperience interacting with global finance teams and international stakeholders Exposure to private equity ownership or other demanding ownership structures Background in both corporate and business-unit finance rolesFluency in Swedish and English is required.
