We face new, rapidly evolving and multi-faceted risks that can impact our people, our business, our reputation and the achievement of our strategic objectives.In this context, the Group Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Director plays a pivotal role in the definition and implementation of the global resilience strategy of our Group and our Maisons with the aim of protecting our people and business. Hence, she or he contributes to the Group strategy and business growth by creating resilience and anti-fragility at all levels of our organisation.Reporting to the Group Chief Security Officer, the Group Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Director will play a key role in two major areas:
- Defining the overall resilience strategy for the Group and its Maisons, by implementing the governance, organization and processes for anticipating, preparing for, responding to and improving in the face of potentially disruptive events.
- Being a key player in the event of a real crisis, acting as the Crisis Coordinator and ensuring that the crisis management system is activated and adhered to.
The Director will lead a team of two subject matter experts in resilience and will operate at Group level with a global scope.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Group Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Director has the following responsibilities:
- Define and reinforce the global resilience, crisis management and business continuity strategy for the Group, including the implementation of a dedicated approach, methodology, framework and principles.
- Elaborate and maintain policies, framework, guidance in the fields of Resilience, Crisis and Business Continuity Management in order to ensure on-going compliance and awareness in those areas within the Group.
- Manage and lead the Group Resilience, Crisis & Business Continuity department including people management, recruitment, development review and budget.
- Oversee a portfolio of initiatives with Maisons, Regions and Entities which are building up or maintaining their desired level of crisis preparedness and business resilience.
- Be an escalation instance for possible crisis which can significantly impact our people, assets, reputation and key operations. Assess the situation and informs the relevant stakeholders to manage the situation accordingly.
- Be an active member of the Group Crisis Management Team and acts as a Crisis Coordinator: be the point of contact for all members, provides support to the crisis chairperson on driving an efficient crisis management team, has the overall overview of the situation, ensures anticipation, etc.
- Develop Crisis Management capabilities in each Maison, Region and Entities which will support faster recovery in case of critical disruption.
- Deploy a methodology and approach to identify, assess and monitor major crisis scenarios that can impact the Group, and ensure regular communication with relevant stakeholders (Seniors Executives, Group Functions, Maisons, Regions and Markets).
- Train and create awareness at senior executive level on major crisis scenarios and the required level of preparedness. Promote ongoing training and development in personal resilience for leaders to ensure sustained performance during crisis or disruptions.
- Create and own the Group Business Continuity Strategy, which includes identifying critical activities (manufacturing, distribution, retail, etc), performing high level BIA, formalizing a pragmatic and lean Business Continuity approach.
- Facilitate strong collaboration with business partners at all levels of the organization (Maisons, Regions, Manufacturing, Group Functions) to support and ensure implementation of the Business Continuity Strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Group Platforms teams to define, implement, test and maintain the global Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) by supporting on the global approach, roadmap, back-ups strategies, on our most critical systems / applications.
- Create global overview on risks and existing business continuity capabilities and propose improvement actions for all our critical operations (manufacturing, logistics, distribution, IT systems, etc.) to reinforce their resilience.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate weak signals and potential threats to proactively adjust business continuity strategies.
- Ensure alignment among business continuity initiatives across the Group and provide visibility to Senior Management.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?You have at least 15 years’ experience in a multinational company/consultancy firm in the field of crisis management, business continuity, security, risk management, disaster recovery.
You have proven experience in Business Continuity Planning (BCP, DRP, etc.) with a very good knowledge of IT systems and manufacturing process.
You perfectly speak and write English and French.
You are solution-oriented and hands-on with the ability to keep a helicopter view.
Communication is crucial, therefore you master the art of communication and know easily how to build strong relationships internally and externally at all levels.
You are result-oriented and can handle critical situations.
Experience in a similar role for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Retail would be a solid advantage.WHAT MAKES OUR GROUP DIFFERENT?
