My client is an exciting and long-standing Irish retail chain, a fast paced, high volume retailer who stock a broad range of product categories.They are recruiting a Head of Ecommerce to join their team in West Dublin.With Stores nationwide and a strong online presence both here and internationally, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Ecommerce to manage the Ecommerce strategy and increase online sales.Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with key departments such as buying, this job suits a committed and career driven person who can deliver in a fast paced, ever changing retail environment and who can lead and develop their team.This company has a fantastic reputation and is known for having a really nice culture.Salary and benefits discussed on application and will match the level of experience but will be competitive.The job responsibilities of the Head of Ecommerce

• Develop and implement a successful Ecommerce strategy, delivering online sales targets, increasing profitability, and growing the online business
• Responsibility for week-by-week online sales performance for each brand category
• Use web analytics to gain insight and action changes to support the growth of the business and performance of the site
• Carry out continuous analysis of online marketing performance and use your data to make key commercial decision
• Analysing website sales and margin and optimise based on findings
• Ensuring consistent reviews and enhancements of website content and user experience to drive frequency of visits, effective product cross-selling, and increased basket size
• Work with the Marketing team to execute strategy through content calendars, focusing on seasonal campaigns, new product launches and key dates e.g. Black Friday
• Overseeing key Ecommerce projects
• Developing, leading and coaching the Ecommerce team
• Managing annual and weekly promotional planning processes with the buying team
• Collaborate with the inhouse graphic designer for all website images
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team
• Act as key contact for all technical issues related to the website and liaise accordingly with the website developer
