Our company Wolt License Services (WLS) is a dynamic organization specializing in payment and financial services for our parent company Wolt, a prominent platform marketplace, and Wolt’s customers. WLS currently manages all merchant payment flows across over 20 markets, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML, safeguarding customer funds, and maintaining robust internal controls. As a licensed and supervised payment and e-money institution, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency in our operations.As we continue to expand our financial services and drive innovation, we are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Financial Services to lead our efforts in developing and executing a long-term financial services strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director, Payments, this individual will be responsible for conceptualizing new financial services offerings, building strong business cases, planning go-to-market strategies, and ensuring seamless project transitions to the operational team for launch.As the Head of Financial Services, you will shape the future of our financial services business, working closely with the Product organization to develop and execute a compelling strategy and local markets to distribute our services to customers. You will engage with key stakeholders, assess market opportunities, and ensure regulatory and operational readiness while driving business growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the long-term vision and strategy for financial services within our organization in collaboration with FinTech Product organization.
• Identify, conceptualize, and design innovative financial services offerings to be developed and launched.
• Create and present compelling business cases to internal stakeholders, securing buy-in for new initiatives.
• Lead go-to-market planning, ensuring seamless execution and positioning of new financial services.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations, to ensure regulatory and operational readiness.
• Oversee the transition of projects to operational teams, ensuring smooth implementation and launch.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Act as a thought leader in financial services, representing the company in relevant industry discussions and partnerships.

Our humble expectations

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in strategic, product, or technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving business impact.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or other technology-driven industries.
• Exposure to scaling businesses, marketplace models, or enterprise solutions is highly valued.
• Strong background in commercial and product strategy or business development.
• Experience working in both high-growth startups and established companies is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across different scales.

• Proven experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or banking, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
