As Head of Investor Relations & Financing at Sting, you play a pivotal role at the intersection of our startups and the investor ecosystem, including angel investors, family offices, and venture capital firms. You are a relationship-driven, people-oriented professional with high integrity-likely a founder yourself, having firsthand experience with fundraising and learning through doing. You are the “spider in the web,” with unparalleled matchmaking skills and a passionate drive to help founders secure their first financing rounds.Reporting directly to the CEO, you are instrumental in ensuring Sting continues to defend its reputation as one of the best startup accelerators in the world.Key ResponsibilitiesRunning Sting’s Financing & Raise Track
With your expertise, you will guide entrepreneurs through the intricacies of fundraising. You will design and lead workshops, sharing practical strategies on how to raise funds, and provide educational content that demystifies the financing landscape. You’ll help founders understand how revenue, soft financing, and fundraising interact, continuously improving the aspects of our program that relate to financing support. You will ensure that sessions run smoothly and collaborate with others as needed.Domain Expertise & Case-by-Case Support
From drafting multi-year financing strategies for startups to proofreading term sheets and facilitating investor introductions, you provide hands-on, case-specific support. You will host office hours and be available for founders who are closing their first investment rounds. While your primary focus is on current program participants, you will also offer support to alumni founders when possible.Investor Relationship Management
Your outstanding social skills and integrity have made you well-connected within the Stockholm, Nordic, and European investor networks. You stay updated on who is looking for which types of investments and excel at matchmaking founders with the right investors. Your close relationship with Sting’s portfolio of 299+ companies positions you as the best possible door opener for our startups.Supporting the Next Generation of Angel Investors
Sting isn’t just about looking after our own startups-it’s also about nurturing the broader Swedish startup ecosystem. In your role, you will support new angel investors entering the field and collaborate closely with Propel Capital, our angel investor network.Events & Investor Engagement
Internally, you’ll co-host demo days, welcome investors, and manage other investor-related activities, such as Beer & Pitch. Externally, you will represent Sting at key global events like Slush and Techarenan, continuously expanding our investor network worldwide.Investment & Financing Administration
You will ensure that our founders have access to up-to-date investor information and relevant resources. This includes managing investor relations partnerships, ensuring legal compliance, and overseeing any partnerships or licenses related to investment and financing (e.g., legal partners).What Sting Offers

Skills & RequirementsQualifications

• Relationship Builder: You thrive in social settings and excel at operating at the crossroads of investors, entrepreneurs, and partners.
• Fundraising Experience: Previous fundraising experience is a significant plus, as it helps you empathize with the emotional journey of founders and the challenges they face during the process.
• Experienced: You have 5+ years of experience as a startup founder, investor, or portfolio manager, and have honed your ability to combine relationship-building with critical analytical thinking.
• Win-Win Mindset: You are always looking for mutually beneficial partnerships and solutions that work for all parties involved.
• Integrity: You understand that working at the heart of innovation means handling sensitive legal and financial information with care and confidentiality.
• Hands-On & Humble: You’re a doer who’s willing to roll up your sleeves. Whether it’s setting up a cap table session for a scientist or designing new tools for the program, you do what it takes to meet the needs of the founders.
• Structured & Deadline-Oriented: You know how to manage your time, keep deadlines, and guide others to do the same.
• Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using tools like HubSpot and are proficient in both Swedish and English (as our internal team language is Swedish).
