As the Head of Operations, you will lead a dedicated team of approximately 8-10 FTEs, reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, Products and Funding and member of the Senior Leadership Team of Realkredit Danmark, Thais Lærkhom Jensen. You will become part of a department and leadership team working jointly on solving daily operational challenges and shaping the future of the mortgage business through innovation and efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient daily operations, encompassing funding and loan administration processes, while also driving continuous improvements. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the operational direction of Realkredit Danmark and ensure operations play a key part in reaching our commercial ambitions.Key Responsibilities
You will be charged with:

• Directing daily operations related to funding and loan administration, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Leading and mentoring a team of operational professionals, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration and high performance.
• Developing and implementing ways to optimise operational processes and enhance service delivery.
• Collaborating closely with other departments, including Business Development, Products and Large Real Estate, to align operational capabilities with business goals.
• Building stakeholder relationships and ensuring effective communication across the organisation, including processes that are outsourced to other areas of the Group.
• Ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies.

What we are looking for
In the ideal candidate we seek:

• 5 years of experience in operational management within the financial services sector, preferably in mortgage banking.
• Strong leadership skills, exemplified by a proven track record in operational excellence and the ability to inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to managing operations and projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on process improvements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and championing our cultural values of ‘own-it’, ‘team-up’ and ‘be-open’.
• Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
