Head of Performance & Reward, Europe (location any major European city)The purpose of this role:Implement and drive the use of KONE reward, recognition and performance management policies, guidelines, processes, systems and practices throughout the Area so that outcomes meet current and future business needs, engage and motivate employees and are consistent with KONE’s desired internal and external market position. Design and develop Area level reward strategy, policies and guidelines that are aligned with KONE level philosophy, strategy and frameworks and meet the Area specific needs.The former incumbent was promoted and will be able to support during your first months at KONE, a professional onboarding can be guaranteed. You will report to our SVP, Performance and Reward.ResponsibilitiesWork with business and People & Communications (P&C) leaders and local P&R teams in the Area to implement and maintain KONE’s global grading, salary management, incentive, performance management and global mobility policies, processes and systems so they meet KONE’s objectives with regards to internal equity, external market competitiveness and driving employee engagement and productivity.Provide strategic and consultative expertise using data driven insights to support P&C teams and business leaders to optimize and enhance the performance and reward offering. Coach business leaders on P&R specific topics.Guide and support local P&R professionals to ensure that local compensation plans, sales and operative incentives, recognition, employee benefit, retirement and well-being approaches are aligned with KONE’s total reward and performance management philosophies and concepts, and comply with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.Drive the KONE annual P&R processes in the Area. Collaborate with the Global P&R team and HR Services to ensure annual programs are designed and delivered successfully.Work with Global Mobility team and P&C teams in the Area to ensure all International Assignees and other cross-border employees in the Area are supported appropriately.Provide support to Area P&C Head and Area EVP on grading and reward proposals for the Area Management team members.Lead a team of Local P&R Professionals.Contribute to the development of global reward, recognition and performance management policies, guidelines and processes, ensuring local business needs and employee market trends and insights are included.Lead Area level Performance and Reward projects and participate and contribute to global Performance and Reward Projects.A member of the KONE Performance and Reward Management Team and Area People & Communications Leadership Team.Skills and competenciesM.Sc. or Bachelor degreeAt least 10 years of HR experience, preferably in multinational companySubstantial experience in reward or compensation roleExperience and knowledge of compensation and reward practices within EuropeKnowledge on benefit, retirement, well-being and flexible working practices in the AreaExperience developing and designing compensation and reward programs and policiesKnowledge on global mobility programsExperience in working with global external service providersProven track record of successful roles in multi-cultural business environmentExcellent influencing and communication skillsHands-on project management and change management experienceFluency of EnglishWe offerBy joining our European Peformance & Rewards team, you will get into a fully global environment with a real purpose.
