A true start-up mindset, agility, and leadership in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment are key.\nRT Consulting is supporting an early-stage biotech company at the forefront of plant science innovation in its strategic recruitment for a Head of R&D.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a Head of R&D to lead scientific partnerships and internal R&D initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration with external stakeholders and fostering innovation within growing internal teams.\nThe ideal candidate will manage a small interdisciplinary team (5-10 people), oversee high-impact R&D programs, and work closely with top management. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong expertise in breeding, gene editing, and plant biotechnology, combined with solid project management, communication, and leadership skills.
