If you are looking for regeneration jobs, we have a great contract role for a Head of regeneration to join a well-established company in Thurrock. The initial contract is for four-months but this may be extended.The role is Hybrid. As a result, the majority will be remote working. In addition to office visits twice per month.
This role is inside and therefore is only suited toKnowledge of understanding mechanisms for:
Firstly, external capital funding for regeneration programmes
Secondly, planning and regeneration delivery
Likewise, analysing and prioritising need with a range of stakeholders.
Also, planning and joining resources to achieve effective services to meet agreed need
Lastly, monitoring the performance of the serviceOther Key Experience:Firstly, experience of securing external funding for regeneration programmes and managing the successful delivery of regeneration programmes.
Secondly, Experience of identifying and scoping new regeneration opportunities
Also, must be good at negotiating and influencing skills at both strategic and operational levels.
Demonstrate ability to implement effective changes to operational delivery.
Ability to provide effective leadership to staff, be able to manage risk and prioritise
Be good at managing budgets and use financial information effectively.
Also, work innovatively and effectively across internal and external boundaries with statutory, independent and voluntary and community sector partners.
The ability to assess commissioning strategies to ensure they are meeting local need.
Energy and enthusiasm.
Evaluating service impact and outcomes
Significant experience of managing staff in a public sector and social work setting.
Significant experience of managing change and driving improvements through performance.
Experience of managing budgets within a volatile context.
Significant experience of working with and advising and negotiating with senior managers in a complex organisation.
Substantial experience of strategic planning or service development.
Experience of developing consultation techniques and community involvement approaches.
Likewise, experience of using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Proven ability to manage change in complex organisations.
