This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and progressive company where you’ll play a key role in driving Health and Safety excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures.
Conducting regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
Investigating workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
Maintaining up-to-date records and preparing compliance reports for management and stakeholders.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed a safety-first culture throughout the organisation.
Liaising with external regulatory bodies and agencies as required.Candidate Requirements:
NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
A degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field – Preferred.
Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH) – Desirable.
A valid driver’s license is essential.
Proven experience in a similar health and safety role, ideally within transport and warehousing.
A strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Salary and Benefits:
Salary: €35,000 – €45,000 D.O.E per annum
