Location: Austria Salary: To €120,000 DOE + Rotation + Living Allowance + Excellent PackageHealth and Safety Manager- ViennaTo €120,000 DOE + Rotation + Living Allowance + Excellent PackageOur client, a leading construction and engineering contractor, operating and delivering excellence all over Europe, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee all aspects of health and safety within CSA projects. As Health & Safety Manager you ideally have a strong background in health and safety management, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of ensuring workplace safety and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities & Requirements:Lead the development of Health & Safety leadership & culture in the workplace.Ensure full compliance with local and national Health and Safety legislation pertaining to the project construction phase and offices.Develop project-specific health & safety strategies, programs, and plans in partnership with group health and safety.Coordinate health and safety program elements addressing site access, security, project induction, first aid, welfare, and emergency arrangements.Coordinate and manage on-site health and safety resources.Establish a process of active health and safety monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities.Monitor and report on health and safety performance and challenges using predefined leading and lagging health and safety performance indicators.Develop and deliver health and safety training programs ensuring all personnel are aware of their health and safety responsibilities.Ensure appropriate and effective emergency response, case management, incident investigation and reporting mechanisms are in place to facilitate learning from incidents (LFI).Attend meetings regularly & contribute to the best of your knowledge.Degree/ qualifications in Health and Safety Management/NEBOSH.Updated understanding of health and safety principles with proven technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines.Proven experience in H&S roles within construction/engineering.Strong knowledge of updated health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards.Civil Engineering background and relevant H&S membership such as IOSH are desirable.Proven management, problem-solving & communication skills.Proficiency in H&S software & tools.Please apply with your updated CV and we will contact you in return for a confidential discussion.The ideal candidate is eligible to work in Austria.
