Health and Safety Officer
Location: Sites Across Munster
Up to €60,000 (DoE)

With a strong reputation for integrity, innovation, and excellence, this dynamic company continues to expand and now seeks to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their growing team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business that values safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing a positive health and safety culture across multiple active construction sites in the Leinster area.Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and monitoring of the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental (EHS) systems across all project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Ensure all safety procedures and legislative requirements are consistently met.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and relevant training sessions to site staff and subcontractors.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to promote best safety practices.
• Maintain up-to-date EHS records, documentation, and reporting in line with ISO and legislative standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and proactively drive a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
• Monitor compliance with internal and external safety policies and standards.
• Provide practical guidance and support to teams across all stages of project development.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
• A recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g., Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
• Proven track record of overseeing EHS across multiple construction sites.
• Strong understanding of Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project stakeholders.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites in the Leinster region.
