Orchard Community Care are looking for empathetic, caring and communicative Healthcare Assistants to work in our residential and day services in Cavan, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Laois, Leitrim, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Wicklow, Carlow, Clare, Cork. Orchard Community Care has a number of opportunities for permanent-full time Healthcare Assistants working a minimum of 48 hours per week. Guaranteed minimum hourly rate of €13.40 per hour (minimum hourly rate range from €13,40 up to €16.44 per hour) and guaranteed minimum annual salary of €33,446 (minimum annual salary range from €33,446 up to €41, 129). Our residential services support children and adults with significant and complex additional needs. Working with families and the community, we support our service users to build their independence and resilience. Our residential services are a 24-hour service and as such working hours will include days, nights and weekends. The Health Care Assistant is required to work as part of a dedicated and innovative team in within a Residential Services providing a service to service user in line with HIQA regulations & standards. Ensure delivery of a high standard of care Assist with the child/adults’ activities and care as assigned by the Manager and as indicated in the person’s Integrated Care Plan. Encourage recognition of the child/adult as an individual ensuring that they and their family’s needs and comforts are given priority. Essential Requirement: Recognised QQI Level 5 or equivalent Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar environment supporting adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Full driving licence.
