Read more and apply today for a life-changing career.The PositionAs a Health Economics Manager, you will be primarily in charge of securing the national market access for all products, including membership in launch teams and responsibility for securing data and analyses to demonstrate cost-effectiveness.Moreover, you will:

  • Write and submit reimbursement dossiers and act as the point of contact with the Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency in Sweden (TLV).
  • Support the leadership team with health economics analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with market access and marketing functions to develop strategies and materials.
  • Assess the economic potential of new products and integrate health economic considerations into clinical trial designs.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders such as TLV, national payers, Swedish representatives in FINOSE and HTA (Health Technology Assessment), leading health economics institutions, the Market Access, Public Affairs and Medical department at Novo Nordisk Sweden.

QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills and a focused mindset who communicate effectively with multiple external stakeholders and demonstrate a strategic, patient-focused approach in their work. For this role we expect our candidates to meet the following qualifications:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Health Economics or a related field
  • At least a few years of experience in life sciences or authorities.
  • Experience and understanding of the Price and Reimbursement in Sweden
  • Experience in designing and implementing economic research studies.
  • Familiarity with health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modelling activities
  • Fluent English (must) skills are required, while the knowledge of Swedish would be preferred.

About the DepartmentYou will be part of the National Market Access & Pipeline team in Sweden. Our department is dedicated to creating and executing comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing, reimbursement, and health economic modelling activities. We work collectively with payers, HTA, and other decision-makers to ensure fair reimbursement systems and maximize market uptake.
