Job Description:The Sr. Manager, Health Solutions is a highly motivated team player, self-starter, critical thinker, with the end to end ownership of defining solutions in support of the EXL Data & Analytics, Clinical Services and Payment Services lines of business, including proposals, client presentations, pricing, capability packaging, responding to RFI/P inquiries, and serving as the liaison between clients, sales, and internal EXL teams. Services include: Population Health Analytics, Utilization and Care Management, Payment Integrity and Risk Adjustment. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, alertness, flexibility in work schedules and excellent collaboration and communication skills.The Sr. Manager will be responsible for strategizing with the product and development organizations in meeting current and emerging client/prospect/market needs and providing strategic direction through solution enablers as warranted.The Sr. Manager reports to the SAVP, Health Solutions and will partner with sales, general managers and delivery organizations in achieving assigned duties. He/she is responsible for developing world class capabilities in their area of responsibility.Inform product strategy based on contemporary subject matter and industry expertise to; (1) ensure program and product innovation (2) support thought leadership (3) interface with clients and prospects as requiredDrive centralization, standardization, and adoption of best practices for the Bid-Office/RFI/P responses and solutionsIdentify and implement opportunities to drive innovation and new ways of doing businessOther business driven activitiesResponsible for ensuring client and prospect solution needs are optimally met including:
- Defining industry leading solutions that bring the best of EXL capabilities together to solve clients’ business problems
- Leading the Solution Planning and Deal Shaping for Qualified Deals & able to do feasibility analysis for the proposed solution
- Partnering with the bid team to ensure a cohesive story and solution are crafted as part of the bid response allowing EXL to differentiate in the marketplace
- Determining and ensuring profitability of proposed solution via pricing activities
- Working closely with Sales and Account Management in aligning final solution architecture and pricing
- Support and advance global solution and bid team model
- Support revenue and operating income goals
- Strong expertise in health care services and products
- Strong expertise in at least 2 areas of the following areas – clinical programs; payment services products, healthcare data and AI, operations
- Extremely knowledgeable of healthcare delivery and data operations across stakeholders including provider organizations, integrated delivery networks, health plans, and PBMs
- Prior solutions development and delivery experience in an agile, dynamic work environment
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, especially in storyboarding, content creation and supporting leaders with their deadlines
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and time management skills
- Adept at working cross-functionally (up/across/down) with teams within strict deadlines
- Critical thinking, attention to detail and taking end to end ownership of tasks

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years of related industry experience within healthcare analytics, clinical and payment services environments; preferably working across both provider and payer stakeholders/environments
5 plus years of experience working in a payer, provider or service vendor
