• Prepare and present meals in line with dietary guidelines, allergen awareness, and nutritional standards.
• Lead or assist kitchen operations ensuring quality, portion control, and efficiency.
• Follow HACCP protocols, food hygiene regulations, and infection control policies.
• Oversee food storage, stock rotation, and minimise waste.
• Work closely with clinical teams and dietitians to meet patient-specific requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.

Requirements:

• QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospital catering, HSE chef roles, or high-volume kitchens.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cook-chill processes, HACCP, and food safety.
• Legal Right to Work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
• Ability to provide 5 years of references.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends on a scheduled rota.

Salary & Benefits:

• €20.29/hour
• Daytime shifts only – rostered between Monday and Sunday
• Double Pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
• Full support from our office and out-of-hours teams
