Excel Recruitment are seeking a talented Duty Manager to join the team of a prestigious Hotel in Dublin. This opportunity would suit a dynamic candidate looking for career progression in the hospitality industry, working in one of Ireland’s most established hotel companiesThe successful candidate will have previous management experience with a strong F&B background supervising the daily running of the hotel and ensuring that with your team you always exceed your guests’ expectations.Requirements of the Duty Manager

• Previous experience managing in a similar property
• Valid work permit with documentation
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Time management and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer literacy
• Willing to work a flexible schedule 5 over 7 days

Responsibilities of the Duty Manager

• Overseeing the smooth running of all hotel departments with a hands-on approach while on duty
• To hold daily briefings in areas of responsibility to ensure effective communication with department managers
• Delivering exceptional customer service and inspiring your team to exceed all guest expectations
• Training and mentoring of staff, continuing a culture of continuous improvement and upskilling
• Drawing up staff rosters within the allocated budget
• Cash handling, card transactions, banking and transaction and sales reporting
• Management of costs efficiently in achieving target GP
