We pride ourselves on our holistic approach to resident care, emphasizing health promotion, independence, dignity, and privacy within a comfortable, homely environment.Learn more about us here:http://havenbay.ieJoin our team!Key Responsibilities:· Daily cleaning residents’ rooms and bathrooms and common areas within the Centre by whatever means are appropriate including sweeping, mopping, hovering, polishing, etc., including dining room, corridors, sitting rooms and visitors & staff toilets..· Clean up spillages as they occur.· Collection and correct disposal of domestic and clinical waste.· Clean all chairs & sofas in day/sitting rooms.· Clean windows where necessary.· Ensure skirting boards and handrails are kept dust free.· Ensure cleaning room is kept tidy at all times.· Keep corridors clear & accessible at all times.· Collect trays, wash up crockery, cutlery, and maintain clean and tidy tearooms.· Set up of trays for meals, and tables for dining if required.· Proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions.· Ensure work equipment is kept tidy & put away securely when not in use· Ensure proper and safe use of all electrical equipment· Ensure safe work practices are observed and the environment is safe at all times.· Re-stock housekeeping trolleys at end of shift.
