Clarion Hotel The Edge, Northern Norway’s biggest conference hotel, is now looking for new team members to join our housekeeping crew!Clarion Hotel The Edge opened its doors in May 2014, and has since then become a signal building and a meeting point for travelers and locals. The hotel has been awarded “New Hotel Of The Year”, “Clarion Hotel of The Year” along with other nominations. Awards and nominations like these have contributed to creating a winning culture and high performing teams.As a Housekeeping team member you will work closely with other departments to ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests. The team consists of a multicultural and inclusive set of coworkers, which include some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry – who take great pride in their work. If you are looking for a job which allows you to work closely with guests and contribute to a social work environment, this might be the job for you!Currently we are recruiting for extra help positions.
Shifts may therefore vary from week to week.As a Housekeeping team member, you are expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Responsible to clean assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridors and other designated areas, with high quality and within an assigned time.
  • Follow daily routines, with a high degree of accuracy
  • Report damages, faulty inventory or other immediately to your closest manager and maintenance department.
  • It is expected that every team member works continuously toward the predefined goals for the department, and that you are familiar with them.
  • The position requires shift work (week days and weekends).
  • It is expected that every team member stay updated on the hotels fire and safety routines.
  • Actively contribute to the work environment.
  • Be a good ambassador for the hotel and STRAWBERRY, and to help guests and colleagues by being resourceful.
  • Make sure to be uniformed correctly, in line with internal guidelines.
  • Take good care of our building, colleagues and guests.
  • Team members can be expected to perform other tasks if the work requires it.
