As an HR Business Partner, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Helsinki.Are you ready to turn our HR strategy into real business impact?
This is a great opportunity for you to develop your talent and make a real impact on the HR agenda as we work together to change the world of payments. Ideally, you will have a couple of years of experience in HR, but if you are just starting out and bring the right attitude, drive, and willingness to learn, this role could also be a fit for you.As part of our small but effective HR team in Finland, you’ll partner with leaders to drive transformation and deliver on our people agenda. You’ll play a key role in shaping culture and enabling growth.Some of your key responsibilities are:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for leaders with Finnish employees concerning a wide range of HR related matters.
  • Facilitate and be a champion in driving HR processes of the annual wheel with our leaders.
  • Advise on and support team development on practical managerial tasks such as handling employee cases, long-term sickness, holiday planning, salary adjustments, etc.
  • Partner and collaborate with employee representatives, employer organisations, occupational health care, insurance companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive work environment by planning and executing initiatives that boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and participate in various employer-led committees (e.g., co-operation and work & safety).
  • Analyse, provide insights, and execute actions based on relevant HR metrics.
  • Optimize HR administrative processes together with our HR Shared Services function.
  • Assist with cross-Nordic HR tasks, initiatives, and projects.

You are eager to drive and contribute to our HR strategy, processes, and practices, such as people matters, reward and recognition, team building, leadership & people development, change initiatives, etc. You have a strong track record supporting leaders.Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

  • Up to 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably from an international organisation
  • Relevant academic degree (e.g., bachelor’s and master’s degrees)
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking skills
  • Understanding of Finnish labor law and HR practices
  • Can-do attitude in driving results in collaboration with multiple stakeholders – it comes naturally to you to build relations on all levels in the organisation, and by heart, like working with and through people
  • Fluent in Finnish and English
