Excel Recruitment is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client’s retail group in Kildare. This position will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives and overseeing multiple businesses within the group, supporting a large team, and fostering a positive workplace culture.The ideal candidate will be excited about working with people, driving business growth, and ensuring best practices in HR compliance.Salary: €75k – €80kResponsibilities:

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the retail group, overseeing HR functions across multiple locations
• Partner with managers to align HR practices with business objectives and promote a high-performance culture
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training programs to attract and retain top talent across all locations
• Lead employee relations efforts, providing guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
• Develop and implement HR strategies to support organisational goals, including performance management and staff development
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies, maintaining a strong focus on standards and procedures
• Mentor and coach management teams across the group, building HR capabilities and enhancing team leadership skills

Requirements:

• 3+ years of HR experience in a retail, multi-location, or similar environment, preferably as an HR Business Partner or similar
• Proven expertise in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and training
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment laws
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and coach management teams
• Self-motivated with strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking to align HR practices with business goals
