Job DescriptionHuman Resources Executive – Full-Time | Hospitality Sector | East CorkAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Executive to join a leading 4-star hotel in East Cork, renowned for its commitment to excellence and people-first culture. This is a full-time, permanent position (Monday to Friday), with some flexibility available for the right candidate.As Human Resources Executive, you will oversee the day-to-day HR operations within the hotel, reporting directly to the General Manager and Group HR Manager. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive working environment, supporting departmental managers, and driving key HR initiatives across recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily HR administrative functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operationsPromote a culture of employee engagement through open communication and people-focused initiativesSupport line managers in all HR matters including recruitment, performance management, training, and developmentManage end-to-end recruitment processes from advertising to onboardingEnsure new starters have a structured, professional, and welcoming induction experienceMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with GDPR and best practiceCoordinate statutory and ad hoc training requirements, including refresher sessionsSupport the disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring processes are fair and compliantPrepare and submit weekly payroll dataImplement group-wide HR initiatives within the hotelMonitor absenteeism and help drive improvements in attendance and wellbeingAct as a trusted point of contact for all employee queries, ensuring timely and professional responsesRequirements:Qualification in Human Resources Management (or working towards one)Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role, ideally within hospitality or a similar fast-paced sectorStrong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practiceExcellent organisational and interpersonal skillsHigh emotional intelligence with proven ability to manage conflict sensitively and effectivelyConfident in supporting and advising senior managersAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyBenefits:Join one of Ireland’s “Best Places to Work in Hospitality 2024”Supportive, inclusive, and people-first work environmentOpportunities for ongoing training and career progressionContributory pension scheme (after 12 months’ service)Life insurance schemeFree on-site parkingStaff meals providedEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Friends & Family rates on accommodation across the collectionBike to Work schemeChristmas Savings SchemeIf you’re a proactive and people-focused HR professional ready to make a real impact within a thriving hotel environment, we’d love to hear from you.
