The HR Generalist manages all HR processes for the site in Norway in collaboration with site leadership and the HR manager. The role provides guidance and consultative support, promoting our digital toolset for employees and managers, driving positive employee experience and relations. This includes compliance of global and local processes, interpretation of policies and procedures, and counseling managers and employees.This role will be reporting directly to the HR Manager Norway, who is responsible for strategic leadership and partnering for the business unit.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Critical:Identify and lead opportunities to standardise work to drive efficiency effectiveness and experience across BUs and countries with EMEADrive digital adoption and timely case handling in ad.aHave the overall responsibility for salary payout and corrections. Be the main contact person for our payroll departmentBe a contact point for our employees regarding overall questionsBe responsible for our trainee – provide training and follow up.DEI Champion – initiate and lead activitiesTake full responsibility for our social committee group – and lead ongoing activities on site.Work together with HR Manager to facilitate long-term HR initiatives aligned with the local and global strategic agendaRecommend and implement employee communication strategies, plans, policies and guidelines in accordance with company’s HR Strategies, in order to sustain company’s culture and enhance employees’ engagementAdminister employee related processes including employee training, performance appraisals, promotions, hirings, and terminationsProactively manage employee data in applicable HR systems and provide accurate HR data for analysis as requiredLead specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiativesImprove HR effectiveness and internal customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement activitiesProvide proactive coaching, consultation and direction to management in areas of performance management, training and development, compensation and overall organizational effectivenessCounsel and advise employees and the leadership team regarding people policies, industrial relations, labor law, regulations, workforce, organization and employee issuesEnsure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource policiesAct as a team role modelModel and promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.Function as a support for our compliance ambassadors, and follow up regarding questionsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent, major in Human Resources, Business or related field preferredWork experience in HR functions, preferably with experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of employee relations and legal issuesStrong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and managementPeople-oriented and good customer-focused mindsetFluent oral and written EnglishAble to influence and resolve controversial, high-impact human resources issuesWillingness to take on what needs to be done, innovative problem-solverProject management skillsExperience in coordinating, planning and deploying HR programs and initiativesPractical knowledge in common computer softwareAdditional InformationAdditional informationWho we are! – Our Story:Each of us, Every day! .
