The team have a dedicated focus on strengthen engagement, Union employee relations, health and safety (work environment), compliance and enhanced digitalization, as well as sharing best practice between the two hubs HQ Stockholm, Sweden and Basel, Switzerland.In this critical position, you will serve as a trusted advisor on employment law matters and lead union negotiations. Working closely with leaders and employees across the organization within and outside our HR organization, you’ll be at the forefront of designing innovative solutions that support both business agility and employee wellbeing in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry.
The role is an individual contributor with no direct reports and reporting to Head of Market HR Sweden and Switzerland. The role is located at the global Sobi HQ in Stockholm.Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to ensure compliance with labour laws and collective agreements while fostering a positive employee relations climate.
- Lead union negotiations with professionalism, empathy, and a strategic mindset.
- Advise and support HR colleagues and managers on labour law matters, ensuring consistent and fair practices.
- Monitor and anticipate changes in legislation, ensuring Sobi remains agile and compliant.
- Contribute to broader HR initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Focus on digitalization and opportunities within AI. Identify areas within HR to enable efficiency of work and increased customer satisfaction.
QualificationsAbout you
We’re seeking an experienced professional with a deep understanding of employment law and union negotiations, someone who thrives on balancing strategic thinking with practical solutions.You excel at building trust, fostering collaboration, and handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy. In our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, you are a strategic thinker who remains calm under pressure and finds innovative solutions to challenges. You’re passionate about creating a workplace where employees feel empowered and valued, and you’re ready to make a meaningful impact at Sobi.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a multinational or market-based environment.
- Proven experience in driving and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Experience from introducing new ways of working within HR
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
