The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for an HSE Coordinator, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway’s technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.This is a great opportunity to work for a significant construction company, working alongside some of the most experienced specialists in the industry to continue developing and further you career.Job Role / Responsibilities

• Coordinate the HSE supervisors under his responsibility
• Support production and involved subcontractors to plan for safe and effective production and to verify that this is being done.
• Support the OHS Manager in the implementation of the Health and Safety Culture through the organization
• Conduct weekly safety inspections and attend to VERNERUNDE within your designated areas.
• Inform subcontractors about Health and Safety requirements.
• Support production in conducting Safe Job Analysis (SJA) where required.
• Review risk assessment (method statement) of subcontractors and produce the cumulative risk assessment, monitoring of control measures.
• Draw up and implementation of emergency plans inside their designates area
• Draw up ITP QIC (Inspection checklist), and develop the HS actions for construction activities
• Draw up specific’s safety plans.
• Conduct coordination meetings with construction and subcontractors.
• Attend kick off meetings and HS team meetings and client meetings if required.
• Reporting and register the Unwanted Events (RUHs) to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration client. Conduct analysis of trends and propose immediate and long term corrective actions for the events inside his designated areas.

ProjectThe infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 3 years.Requirements10 years in the role of Health and Safety management of complex infrastructure work * HS Certification /Overview of relevant Norwegian health and safety regulations
