With hands on experience, access to clients, and guidance and support from our expert teams, our Trainee Accountants will learn and grow fast in a dynamiccollaborative firm.This role will suit a graduate interested in pursuing a career in accountancy and related disciplines.What you can expect on the Programme:You will begin your role at ifac with an extensive onboarding programme at our Kilkenny Head Office in June 2025. You will receive excellent training and support from a diverse team of experts while you learn how to prepare and review accounts and tax computations, provide client support, and help business owners manage risk and maximise opportunities. Working across a range of industries with a focus on the food and agribusiness sectors, you will be involved in full accounting, tax and consulting assignments, including planning meetings, and client visits.Achieving your potential:At ifac, we invest in our graduates. Our Programme includes dedicated mentor support, practical hands-on experience, early-stage access to clients, full education fees sponsorship, and paid study leave.You will have the opportunity to gain experience in our Assurance, Tax, Audit, Financial Services, Insolvency and Business Advisory teams.This will be a full-time Trainee contract, typically for 3.5 years fixed term.The CandidateThe successful candidate will have:· A third level qualification in accountancy or a business-related discipline.· Excellent communication skills.· A passion for helping business owners solve problems and maximize opportunities· Strong organisational skills and be attention to detail orientated.· A commitment to exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships.· A willingness to learn and grow professionally with a commitment to completing a professional qualification.· Experience in using Microsoft Office.Rewards – We offer excellent remuneration packages at all levels.
