Job description

This is an excellent in-house opportunity with one of the worlds leading aircraft financing and leasing company’s based in the west of Ireland. This a permanent position with hybrid working and a competitive remuneration package.Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate documentation for cross-border engine leases and transactions.
• Collaborate with other solicitors, both internally and externally,, with a particular focus on short-term leasing agreements.
• Offer legal support to the global sales and transaction teams.
• Provide in-house legal advice to the wider organisation.
• Identify legal risks and challenges including handling defaults, lease restructurings, repossessions, litigation, and bankruptcy matters.
• Support the development and upkeep of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with parent company regulations.
• Assist the internal co-sec with company secretarial duties.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified solicitor in Ireland or the UK with at least 2 years PQE from a commercial law firm or in-house.
• Have prior experience in aviation or aircraft leasing experience.
• Experience dealing with senior management and have strong commercial acumen.
