Job Title: Independent Financial Adviser (IFA)Location: North West England, Merseyside, St HelensJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimePrimary Industry: Banking and FinanceSalary: Circa £50,000 per annum + bonusJob Duties:
- Providing financial advice to clients on investments, pensions, insurance, and other financial products
- Analysing financial information to recommend suitable products and services
- Developing financial plans to help clients achieve their financial goals
- Monitoring and reviewing clients’ financial situations regularly
- Keeping up-to-date with industry regulations and best practises
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Independent Financial Adviser (IFA)
- Registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
- Strong understanding of financial products and services
Education:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Professional qualifications such as Chartered Financial Planner (CFP) preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully managing client portfolios
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex financial information clearly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
- Membership of professional bodies such as the Personal Finance Society (PFS)
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with occasional client visits
- Standard working hours with flexibility required to meet client needs
- May involve travel within the region to meet clients
