Are you an enthusiastic developer and a results-oriented candidate wishing to acquire experience in a rapidly growing sector? Visual Analysis and Perception (VAP) lab at Aalborg University (AAU) and Milestone Systems are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate who is interested in exploring novel approaches of working with/on Vision Language Models. The PhD position is co-financed by The Innovation Fund Denmark.Qualifications and educational preferences

• You must have a master’s degree before Nov. 2025.
• Your average grade in Danish system needs to meet the following requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Strong interest in computer vision, and machine learning.
• High motivation, a high level of commitment, a proactive and positive attitude.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Personal skills

• You are passionate about technology and want to learn more about a product that is a key player in its field and is shaping the future of its industry.
• You are willing to work in a dynamic environment where experimentation and learning are required as part of building and developing a product.
• You are a team player who values integrity and honesty in communication.

Your TeamYou will be joining Milestone’s Emerging AI, which is mainly located in Brøndby, and VAP lab in Aalborg, Denmark.
