You’ll be instrumental in the robust setup and administration of the company’s core IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation and security of their systems.Arbit Cyber Defence Systems specializes in cybersecurity with focus on network protection. They develop and produce a range of certified and accredited Cross Domain Solutions for high security networks. Their Data Diode and the Arbit TRUST Gateway solve the challenges of running high security networks (disconnected/air gapped/galvanic) as they ensure seamless transfer of data including integration with Multi Engine Virus scanning and Data Sanitization. Customers primarily are in Intelligence, Armed Forces, National Government, Police and Defence Industry across Europe, North Africa, and Asia.
The company is based in Hvidovre close to Copenhagen (and very close to the train station and highway).You will be part of the software engineering group, and this position offers opportunities to interact closely with and contribute to both the software development and service delivery teams.Your responsibilities will include:

• Firewall setup and administration
• Proxmox virtualization platform management
• VPN configuration and maintenance
• Email system administration
• AD Server (SSO) management
• Setting up and maintaining our on-premise website server
• Developing and managing the website build pipeline (CMS)
• Implementing and optimizing GitLab build pipelines
• Establishing and overseeing software release pipelines
• Server hardware and operating system (Linux/Windows) management, including patching, updates, and troubleshooting
• Network administration, encompassing LAN/WAN connectivity, switching, and routing
• Backup and disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Monitoring system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) to streamline IT operations
• Documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and inventory
• User support and technical assistance for a variety of IT-related queries
• Security best practices implementation and vulnerability management

About youYou probably have a strong background in IT, and an education such as an AP Graduate in Infrastructure, Data Technician, System Administrator, or the like. You do not need to have many years of experience; you could even be newly graduated – but you must have a huge interest in the above technical areas and a strong will to learn, and have a strong sense of curiosity to learn even more.You are service-minded, enjoy trouble-shooting, and have a high sense of quality in your work. And you are comfortable with a fast-paced environment with multible responsibilites.In this role, there are plenty of development possibilities for you within the company, either to become more of a DevOps specialist or to join the Service Delivery team helping with implementation of the Arbit products at their international and Danish customers.Fluency in English is necessary, and you understand and speak some Danish.Due to the high level of security concerning Arbit customers as well as their own certifications, it is required that you can maintain a security clearance of level SECRET (HEMMELIGT).The company offersIn Arbit, you will be part of an international and highly successful company.
