Our Inside Sales teams partner with Enterprise Sales to bring Splunk solutions to the most ground-breaking companies in the world. We are seeking a dynamic, early career professional to join our fast-growing team and support the development of new pipeline. There is a defined growth path for successful Inside Sales Representatives to be promoted throughout the sales organisation and other similar roles and marketing functions.Responsibilities
In this role, you will showcase the ability to focus on an organisation’s initiatives, challenges, problems and partner with Splunk Field Sales to bring value to those organisations through our sales process.You will:Create pipeline for your territory using demand generation and prospecting toolsFind new opportunities and quickly develop rapport with new clientsExplore & identify new opportunities in new accounts and/or buying centresQualify these opportunities by deep-diving into problem and how Splunk can solve for it and applying the Budget, Authority, Need and Timeline methodologyResearch and present business intelligence about customers and prospectsGenerate business opportunities through professional networking and cold-callingTravel occasionally for training and/or meetingsYou’ll be driving sales activities on highly strategic accounts and projects within an ecosystem of elite sales, technical and operational partners. Successful team members develop and demonstrate their sales acumen and move on to other sales positions and other roles.Who you are:Sales hunter with a can-do mentalityCompetitive in nature but a strong team playerOpen to new approaches and creativitySelf-disciplined and well-organisedPersistent and resilientWhat you need to be successful in this role:Minimum 2 years of experience in selling or generating demand for enterprise IT solutions (BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software or networking performance)Fluent Swedish and English language skillsA passion for research, data and analysis that drives actionAn ability to analyse business data to tell a compelling and actionable storyAn ability to utilise prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Xing, etcCRM or Salesforce.com knowledge is a plusSelf-motivation and relentless in pursuit of creating their own successExcellent presentation skills and clear communicationHigh energy and contagious optimismConfidence in handling of objections and conflictLogic-based problem solvingTask prioritization, discipline, and accountabilityA strong executive presence, with polish and dedication to customer outcomesSplunk is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Splunk, we believe creating a culture of belonging isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also the smart thing.
