We’re all about bright futures – for our people and those who wear our contact lenses.Job summary – What to expect:You’ll be responsible for sales, development and growth of a defined customer group in alignment with company sales processes, plans and objectives. You’ll build and maintain excellent customer relationships to support solid business growth, whilst implementing a consultative selling style that operates independently on a daily basis.Professional, credible and comfortable at all times dealing with optometrists, contact lens opticians, retail store managers and store staff, via phone, email and virtual meetings. Working with accounts with a low CooperVision turnover and high potential. Maximise results through servicing existing customers achieving sales targets and personal performance objectives.Responsibilities:

  • Sales management of all customers within the defined territory providing a principle point of contact for Cooper Vision with the overall objective of achieving long term, year on year sales growth
  • Day to day management of the territory, designated customers and CooperVision’s products and services.
  • To develop and introduce new products to customers on behalf of the Company to maximize sales growth opportunities
  • Have outstanding knowledge of CooperVision’s products, clinical and technical information, product strategy, market and commercial positioning and brand messages to assist customers in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • To deliver training programmes to store staff as agreed to improve knowledge of CooperVisions products and placement
  • To organize and execute commercial training in liaison with the field sales team to improve contact lens category knowledge of employees and build brand loyalty
  • To form close relationships with field sales team and representatives within the key account structure to provide the platform for commercial, retail training and educational programmes
  • To service the customer base of the company, using a blended contact approach of virtual and phone meetings. Liaise with Customer Services to ensure service levels are both maintained and acceptable to the account
  • To represent the Company at seminars, exhibitions and meetings as required to enhance the customer experience
  • To attend sales meetings to ensure understanding and alignment of Company direction, action plans and priorities.
  • To accurately complete all reporting and administrative duties as laid down at any time including the upkeep of the designated CRM system, such as Salesforce, and a complete set of customer records for the designated area to ensure all knowledge is shared for the company benefit.

About you:We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in achieving outstanding sales results over the phone within a highly regulated organisation. You’ll be confident in delivering presentations, trainings, speaking to highly technical individuals at all levels and have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.You’ll be an excellent communicator with a consultative selling style and able to work under pressure.Results focused, resilient, forward thinking and pro-active are all attributes that will contribute to the success of this candidate.In addition, you’ll:

  • Awareness and ability to make a positive impact with prospective and existing customers.
  • Enviable track record of achievement (target achievements) gained from organisations that demonstrate and require strong interpersonal skills in order to influence over the phone.
  • Understanding of investigative questioning and sales process.
  • Highly pro-active and able to work successfully alone as well as within a team to pre-determined objectives.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills. Enhanced listening skills and a personable approach to customers and colleagues with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent and professional manner, and able to deliver a clear and concise presentation and conversation over the telephone.
  • Anticipate, understand, prioritize and meet customer needs.
  • Existing knowledge of the optical market advantageous.
  • Fluent in Swedish & English, additional Nordic language considered a plus.
