Air Conditioning Engineer – Nationwide (UK)
Salary: £39,500 – £47,000 DOE
Permanent | Full-time | Recruiting on behalf of a UK-based HVAC specialistWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable and growing HVAC contractor for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer. This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dedicated team, delivering high-quality installation, service, and maintenance across the UK.About the RoleAs an Air Conditioning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for working on a wide range of commercial systems including split systems, multi-splits, VRV/VRF units, air handling units (AHUs), and ventilation systems. This role includes travel and occasional overnight stays (accommodation and expenses covered). Electrical experience is beneficial.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, service, and repair of HVAC systems (split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, AHUs)Ensure installations meet all safety, compliance, and quality standardsMaintain accurate service records, including refrigerant use and leak testing (F-Gas compliant)Read technical drawings and wiring schematicsDeliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-siteProvide guidance and leadership when required on project sitesRequirementsMinimum 2-3 years’ experience in HVAC installationNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)F-Gas (2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants) certificationFull UK driving licenceStrong mechanical knowledge including ductwork, AHUs, and pipeworkAbility to work independently or as part of a teamGood communication and interpersonal skillsMust supply own hand tools (specialist tools provided)CSCS, IPAF and PASMA certifications are advantageousSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary: £39,500 – £47,000 depending on experienceMonday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 (1-hour lunch)Company vehicle and fuel cardDoor-to-door travel paidNo on-call rotaOptional weekend work paid at 1.5x22 days annual leave + bank holidaysPPE, uniform, and specialist equipment providedOvertime opportunitiesOngoing training and developmentApply NowWe’re looking for someone reliable, technically capable, and committed to high standards of workmanship.
