• Lead and guide a design team through all project phases, ensuring adherence to agreed quality, scope, time, and safety standards.
• Take ownership of instrumentation activities, encompassing instrument sizing and selection, conducting purchasing activities, defining work packages, developing wiring designs for hazardous areas, and performing field engineering.
• Develop project cost estimates for instrumentation.
• Drive continuous improvement of our instrumentation procedures, instructions, and specifications.
• Proactively develop your technical expertise and leadership capabilities within a supportive environment.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• Experience in process instrumentation engineering (5+ years)
• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or a related field
• A proactive and solution-focused mindset with a strong drive to achieve results
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken communication

We also value experience and proficiency in leading design teams or project management.The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas.
