JMC Aviation are working with an Aircraft Manufacturer based in Farnborough, looking to recruit a new Interior Fitter to join their team.This client is an aircraft manufacturer that also handle line, base and interior maintenance for their customers, focusing on development and sustainability. Working a 4 on/4 off night shift pattern (7pm – 7am).The Role:The primary purpose of this role is to remove and install aircraft interior under supervisionSalary and Benefits– Competitive salary & shift allowance– Share save scheme & Bonus scheme– Competitive pension scheme– Employee recognition system– Healthcare PlanResponsibilities:– Safely perform the removal, installation and maintenance of aircraft interiors (including but not limited to, galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and vanity ledge fill panels).– Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and regulatory paperwork, sign¿offs and quality specifications.– Removal, Installation and Replacement of soft furnishings including carpets.– Repair and trimming of interior products.– Use the computer tracking system to create parts demand, raise defect cards.Skills and experience required.In order to be successful in this role the Interior Fitter will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:– Secondary school education with GSE Grade C or above in English, Mathematics.– Recognised Aviation industry approved apprenticeship with experience within a EASA Part 145 organisation.– Working knowledge of EASA regulations, process specifications,– Experience of Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.– Right to live and work in the UKIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
