- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for Deloitte’s internal employees.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and statutory requirements.
- Manage and mentor junior payroll staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Respond to internal payroll queries and resolve related issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Prepare and review internal payroll reports and manage payroll-related audits.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Support the implementation of payroll systems and software updates.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Familiarity with MegaPay is desirable but not essential.
- Professional certification in Irish payroll (e.g., iPass) is a must, while an understanding of the UK payroll would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
