Do you want to join us developing a new line of business in ABENA? Are you being motivated by a global environment and by having commercial responsibility for different markets? Do you want to be a part of a team split between sales and purchasing?You will become a part of our new organizational set-up, where you in the position as International Business Development Manager have the responsibility for our performance on different international markets within the Food Industry. The Food Industry is a new strategic focus area where ABENA based on its health care expertise wants to grow extensively.Join us making things happen
We are working dedicatedly to gain market shares, and you are going to help us make it happen. It will be your responsibility that we constantly are developing, and that we perform positively in your markets. You will overlook a broad portfolio of very different products from cleaning to protective wear to packaging materials. You will become a part of a dynamic team working internationally with daily contact to the Sales Managers at our subsidiaries, Product Managers, as well as the Global Segment Manager whom you directly report to. Therefore, you are an outgoing team player, who enjoy interacting with various different stakeholders in an often busy environment.In addition to strong analytical skills, you possess a well-developed ability to make things happen from translating customer needs into physical products, services, and business models to market success. You have a flair for the details without losing the overall overview enabling you to prioritize effectively between multiple tasks in order to drive progress in a goal-oriented way.Taskwise you will:

  • be the link between our local sales organizations, global product categories, and purchasing functions
  • drive cross functional projects
  • make sure that our upstream and downstream information flow works optimally
  • support the individual countries in connection with tenders and other inquiries
  • collect market info and spot market potential internationally
  • develop a plan with the individual countries
  • develop relevant marketing material
  • initiate and facilitate new subsidiaries starting up within The Food Industry
  • deal with practical activities and other administrative ad hoc tasks

Most importantly – you:

  • have a relevant education as a basis for performing the tasks; Master degree is preferred, but not a must
  • preferably have experience from a similar position
  • speak and write English on a negotiation level (it is a plus if you master other European languages as well)
  • have an excellent command in the Office Package
  • have a global mindset and are motivated by an international environment
  • have goal oriented can-do attitude
  • communicate positively on all stakeholder levels
  • possess experience within the food industry and packaging materials – a plus, but not a necessity

You can expect 20 – 30 traveling days annually.Become a part of an exciting team
